White Album
In The White Album Joan Didion highlights her career as a journalist and discusses some of the many encounters she's had while chasing a story. What I found interesting was when she discussed how she was so used to traveling at a moments notice that she had her packing down to a science. This included an itemized list posted in her closet to ensure she wouldn't forget anything. I chose to replicate that list and use images to represent some of the mundane everyday items Didion found necessary to travel with in order to write her stories.

This post helps us to understand the White Album more extensively as we can visualize what Didion carried around and had packed with her at all times. I think that is a sign of a great nonfiction writer, is that they are prepared to explore a story at the drop of a hat, regardless of personal events.
